General registration

Turku Day is approaching, and once again we are looking for local actors from Turku to create the program for the city’s own celebration day.
Participation in the program is free of charge for participants, and the possibilities are as many as there are contributors! This year, the theme of Turku Day is environment and sustainable development, which can be used as inspiration when planning the program.

How to sign up for Turku Day:

Add your event to the Turku region event calendar via this link: Turku Region Event Calendar. Select the tag “Turku Day 2026” for your event. Please remember to include translations of your event in Finnish and Swedish!

All organizers and events across Turku are welcome to take part in Turku Day! Register by 17 August 2026.

Old Market Square event

The market event at the Old Great Square offers various participants the opportunity to present their activities through presentation booths and stage performances. Participation is free of charge. We hope the stage will feature a diverse range of program content, such as dance and music performances as well as different speeches.

Register by 17 August 2026. The organizer will coordinate the placement of presentation booths and the stage program and reserves the right to determine which participants are selected for the event. Those selected for the market event will be notified as soon as possible after the registration period has ended.
